Prior knowledge is unnecessary for most of the workshops and is suited for anyone with a curiosity and passion for knowledge about historical analog photography. The prerequisites for intermediate and advance workshops are listed under each heading.
Most workshops are limited to an enrollment of five students; this assures ample one-on-one time and will occur over the course of a single weekend. The workshops usually will begin on a Friday evening (6pm – 9pm), all day Saturday (9am – 5pm) and Sunday afternoon (1pm – 4pm).
Fountain Hill Studio is located at 711 Fountain Street, NE, Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Fountain Hill Studio may take and use images during the course of the workshops for promotional purposes. If you have an objection to being included in images or videos, please inform us.
Withdrawal from a workshop 14 days before it will start will receive a full refund. Withdrawal closer than two weeks to any workshop will result in the forfeiture of your $50.00 deposit. Any cancelation on the part of Fountain Hill Studio (illness, low enrollment, etc.) a full refund will be issued. Tuition is listed for each workshop and covers equipment, supplies and all chemistry, any exception is noted under each workshop.
